Dr. Strohecker obtained a biology degree at Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C. Dr. Strohecker went on to Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University, where he received his medical degree. He completed his Residency and Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Dr. Strohecker is Board Certified in Internal Medicine as well as Gastroenterology. Dr. Strohecker is extremely involved in clinical research particularly Hepatitis C protocols as well as Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Gastro-esophageal Reflux Disease, and has a special interest in Hepatology. Dr. Strohecker is a Fellow in the American College of Physicians and a Fellow in the American College of Gastroenterology.
