Dr. Albert received his undergraduate degree in biology and Spanish from the University of Iowa. He received his medical degree from Rush University in Chicago. He later went on to complete a Residency in general surgery at Michigan State University. Dr. Albert completed a Residency in colon/rectal surgery at Ferguson Clinic in Grand Rapids, Mich. He holds Fellowships and certification in both colon/rectal surgery and general surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons. His medical interests include colonoscopy; colorectal disorders including cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, constipation and incontinence.
